Hello Ghana.

The time has come: it's official. I AM GOING TO GHANA! I have just received word tonight that I made it into UVU's Ghana Study Abroad Program where we will be working in orphanages and teaching the kids prevention against AIDS.  I cannot begin to explain how excited and thankful and blown away I am! This is something that I haven't wanted for so long and I have tried through  many different programs and I am finally going! I cannot wait to meet these kids! I have such a strong love for these people in Africa and I cannot wait to see them face to face. It will truly be a life changing experience. I have never felt so blessed.....

 BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
the one and only jami pond
made it into the ghana program as well!
congrats jami!
We're Going to Roam Ghana!

Wow Rachel, that is SO EXCITING! I too wanted to go to Africa before the Young Crew hit a population explosion :) but never had the opportunity. So have fun, make memories and don't take a moment for granted because I'm sure you'll remember this experience for the rest of your life!
