Stellie.

Monday, June 16, 2008

So I was going through old pictures of mine, and I came across one. Her name is Estelle. She is one of my favorite people. She's my cousin who has the personality of something unknown. Does that make sense? She's wild, witty, and sassy which keeps us entertained. Anyhoo, I have gotten so use to being able to see this insane child just about whenever I wanted to while at school. And now that I am home, I no longer have that privilage. But I am so excited to say that I shall see that woman come Saturday for a glorious week in Hilton Head Island! Anyways, here is to Stellie. I could eat her up in this picture from ages ago.

For being a pathetic cheerleader back in my days and not handling a single sport in my life since my "soccer days," I made it up on the Wakeboard, first time, first try. Shizam. I am proud to say that Dad was very impressed, and that I showed up my friend Bill as well as Jordan. It was awesome, until a fish jumped out of the water infront of me, I freaking how and the next the I know, water shot up me like a gun. I thought I was going to die. But here I am. In one piece, doing just dandy. Thanks for listening in...

Day Two.

Monday, June 9, 2008

The adventures continue with a fabulous and magical day in Atlanta at the Cocoa Cola Factory. I don't like when I say, it was magical. They really allow you to fall in love with Coke. I sound rediculous I know, but I am proud that my dad once worked for them and that it's one of the well known things of Atlanta. The World of Coke had so much to do. We went to a 4-D movie, we looked at an art gallery of one of my favorite Artists, Penley. He had all of his Coke Paintings and they were so fun to look at. Then of course we went to taste all of the different tastes of coke around the world. Word to the world, do not try the "Beverley" from France. Barf. No seriously, I dry heaved.

Penley's Cocoa Cola Paintings. He's one of my favorite artists so this was really neat.

Later that night, we stayed in Atlanta and went to the Braves & Phillies Game. Of course, the Phillies won, by one. And as hot as it was, it was a pretty intense game. And baseball isn't my thing. And to top off the night? We treated ourselves to the Varsity. Bingo.

A couple of nights later... Waffle House. Score.

And to top off all of the oh so healthy food we've been eating, we thought we'd go tubing on the lake to allow it all to settle. Not so smart.
Allow I will say, I kicked Bill's trash on the tubes. He didn't last.

we also chose another great activity to handle during the glorious heat of 104 degrees. SIX FLAGS.

this is how I man handled it.

Don't be fooled by Jordan's calm and collect self. By the end of the day we rode Goliath, and you best believe he was gagging while leaning on my lap for support. He so wanted to throw up on me just to tick me off... he's blessed he didn't.

word. we're out.

Day One.

The day has come! One of my best friends from college is in town visiting Jordan & I for a good week! What a treat, right? He is from New Jersey, so he has a little taste if the "east coast" if you will. But we are here to give him the taste taste of the south. I have an agenda all planned out. I am one of those people who fear that others aren't having fun while on vacation. So I made sure we'd stay busy. Todays specialties started out with dinner at my newest favorite, The Fickle Pickle. Such delish southern food. I had fried pickles in a cajun sauce with a fried green tomato sandwhich and a refreshing sparkling peach soda. This is where you drool. It was so nice and such perfect timing because every Thursday at the Fickle Pickle, a live band performs out back on their patio by the barn. It's a cute little area and luckily, it cooled down a bit. And there was a breeze, so it was quite relaxing. Then we drove Bill all the way to Atlanta and we hit up Centennial Olympic Park and played in the fountains with all of the children. He loved this. No worries, he got some good video footage of The Water Fountain show too... anyways, enough talk. Here are some snap shots. Yes, I said "Snap shots" but I think it sounds cool.

yummy yummy and o'so pretty.

goodbye fickle pickle!

La Te Da! I love the south! We say!

Wet Rats

Crazy, there are still windows missing in the buildings from the tornandos that went through Atlanta a couple of months ago.
