baby desmond lives far far away, across the seas and on the border of the north ghana jungles in africa. baby desmond is shy, tender and personal. baby desmond is a happy, beautiful, glowing little boy who is adored by his many brothers and sisters. he is adored by new friends and strangers he meets from abroad. baby desmond tends to steal the hearts of others. im a firm believer that he stole my heart. of all the babes in the world im thankful the babe in the wild stole mine. i miss my dezzy baby.

miss olivia, darling, i do believe you are marvelous. simply, marvelous. here's the deal my friends. not that you care, but i'd like to say, the older i get, the more i am finding myself in an agreement with my hairstylist, renee' from home when she decides a trim equals 2 inches off. i still know the feeling of dreading a renee' trim, and wanting to cry because if this 2 inch trim keeps up, my hair will never grow and be long. but according to renee' it had to be done because my hair did not look so clean and healthy.

now im at that point where i would like my hair to be beautiful, glowing, and fresh. even if that means i can't have locks of love. im fully convinced that everyone has a length that suits them best and even if it's not what they long for, everyone else is thinking the world of their hair because it's all of the above: BEAUTIFUL, GLOWING, and FRESH.
you get what im saying? are we connecting? do i make any sense? my point is, look at darling olivia. look how thick and full her hair looks, the blunt cut, the length, the absence of layers... the whole shebang is really working because my gosh it's healthy.

low and behold, i just want healthy hair. once the bangs grow to the collarbone, i shall be the blonde version of olivia.

lounging in a park.

lounging in a park ain't too shabby in utah when the weather is having a good day and decides to grace itself some rays of light. 

so the roommates and i, packed our bags jumped on a scooter and threw some blankets on a grassy field, read a little and chatted some serious storms. 

im very excited for spring to make its grand appearance. i mean, it really is about time.

23 years of a life that has blessed so many others. i love this cousin of mine like no one else. she's my best friend and more like a sister than a cousin. i am so thankful for our relationship and for the friend she has been to me. we have the best of times when we are with one another. ain't she just the sweetest thing you have ever seen?

zekey & rach to california they go.

yaba daba doo. zeke attack and i hit the roads my little jacks, for a trip to california. 

spring break toasted me a treat to golden rays & an azure sky. 80 degree weather riding bikes to and fro beach to beach. eating whatever lands in our mouths and regretting it the morning after. visiting friends and meeting new. we had a really grand ol' time. 

zeke squad is a funny one. 10 hour car ride with the boy is a field day. all we did was hoot and holler. good thing he's entertaining or we'd both be busted for not making road trip mixes and jams like we said we would. wish you guys could meet zekey zoo. he's a goof. a good one. hope you all had a great week, and where ever you may be, may the weather be so ever kind to you...

my friend niki posted this little vimeo on her blog and i just happened to view it tonight. just like nik, im kind of digging these "live the language" clips. other "live the language" clips take place in beijing, barcelona, and london. niki was definitely feeling the london and paris clips because she did a study abroad to those two destinations this past summer. what i would give to have "live the language" clip in africa. 

why i love these clips? because the crispness of the film really amazes me. ma & pa : make notes, i great great HD to the max video camera.

my sister jenna and her husband jake just welcomed their second daughter into the world today! im proud to say im an aunt of four now! we sure just adore you annie jane, and so does your older sister goldie jean! congrats jake & jenna!
