Hello Ghana.

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

The time has come: it's official. I AM GOING TO GHANA! I have just received word tonight that I made it into UVU's Ghana Study Abroad Program where we will be working in orphanages and teaching the kids prevention against AIDS.  I cannot begin to explain how excited and thankful and blown away I am! This is something that I haven't wanted for so long and I have tried through  many different programs and I am finally going! I cannot wait to meet these kids! I have such a strong love for these people in Africa and I cannot wait to see them face to face. It will truly be a life changing experience. I have never felt so blessed.....

 BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
the one and only jami pond
made it into the ghana program as well!
congrats jami!
We're Going to Roam Ghana!

Young Love.

Wednesday, January 14, 2009

Just like the rest of the world, I am sure that most of you tuned into American Idol last night. I already have some favorites in mind just from the first night. I would like to ask all of you to vote for the blind man every week and keep him on. Like Jake Vela says, "I have unlimited texting, he'll be getting my votes every five minutes of everyday." Perfect. Thank you Jacob. I would also like to ask your opinion of Miss Bikini Bottoms. Was she being serious? What happened to class? Does anyone own it anymore? Sad. And I would like to give thanks to the Rocker Girl who busted out Baracuda. Guitar Hero and Rock Band players all praise you.

And last but not least, for those of you who missed the opening of American Idol, you never got a load of this. Young Love. Sweet Innocent Boy Crazy Love: for David Archuleta. I fell of the couch, held myself so I didn't pee and rewound about 10 times to get a great belly laugh. I have never seen anything more hilarious! I imagine this is how Shelly reacted when Blake Lewis unfortunately did not win the title of the next American Idol. OH MY GOSH. It reminds me of my Leonardo Dicaprio Days. Just kidding, I'm still living them and forever will.

SUGGESTION: To keep from having your ears bleed maybe stop the video at 1:00. They get a little too dramatic, loud, and out of control. In fact, they're monsters.

Meet Danny.

Friday, January 2, 2009

I would like to share with you a very humorous video of my friend Danny. He had recently posted this video of him when he was a Senior in High School and he got his wisdom teeth taken out. The hilarious thing is, he comes up with a theory and believes that it's all a conspiracy and they didn't really pull out his teeth. He gets really dramatic. Notice also, the nurse is talking on the phone, not to Danny, although Danny takes in everything she says and really gets a kick out his chair. Oh my gosh, I don't think this could get any better. This video is just epic.  I really hope you find some humor in this video but my mom and I about died while watching it. Enjoy.

this might tickle your fancy
